Avoid Fraud...

Please understand that eChatNetWorkClassifiedAds.com is a freely available service to help buyers and sellers (and etc.) find one another. ClassifiedAds.com is not involved in any transactions and can not police the actions of our many users.

Here are some tips to avoid fraud on
eChatNetWorkClassifiedAds.com or anywhere on the Internet:

  • Deal with people in your area.
The vast majority of scammers will contact you from another country or somewhere far away. The best way to avoid scams is to deal locally, in person.
  • Do not wire funds (via Western Union, etc.).
If you are asked to wire funds, you are talking to a scammer.
  • Beware of fake cashier checks and money orders.
Fakes are common and banks may even cash them. But when the fraud is discovered, you could be held liable.
